Enabla VSS Backup Hyper-V

För att enable VSS på hyper-v servern… kör följande .vbs

För att köra 32bitars ODBC driver i en 64bitars maskin så kör denna …..

Installing Windows via USB thumbdrive

Format the thumb drive

from a elevatedprompt execute

diskpart

list disk
select disk 1 (assuming disk 1 was your thumb drive in the above list disk command)
clean
create partition primary
select partition 1
active
format fs=fat32 quick
assign
exit

Unpack the ISO,copy the fileson to the newly prepped disk…

xcopy SourceDrive:\*.* /s /e /f DestDrive:\

(Works with WIndows server 2008,R2,Vista,W7 m.m.)

RDS Hickups…

En RDS (2008 R2 TS) användare får plötsligt en ”Temporär” profil… hua.. varför…

Notering: Ofta har denna användares profil krånglat tidigare, och har nu troligen
raderats ov en admin, på samma sätt som man gjorde på 2003 osv.. .dvs man
raderade bort profil filerna under c:\users…

Före 2008 (?) så återskapades profilen automatiskt… men tydligen inte nu…
Resulterar i att denna användare ALLTID komemr få en ”TEMP” profil sammt att en
ny profil map INTE skapas.
En registerpost håller nämligen reda på vilka profiler som tydligen skall finnas…
Leta reda på rätt profil guid och radera den (Profil Namnet står i klartext i undernyckeln)

Group Policy Planning and Deployment Guide

Applying Group Policy to new user and computer accounts….

New user and computer accounts are created in the CN=Users and CN=Computers containers by default.
It is not possible to apply Group Policy directly to these containers, although they inherit GPOs linked to the domain.

To apply Group Policy to the default Users and Computers containers, you must use the new Redirusr.exe and Redircomp.exe tools.
Redirusr.exe for user accounts and Redircomp.exe for computer accounts are two tools that are included with Windows Server 2008.
These tools enable you to change the default location where new user and computer accounts are created, so you can more easily scope GPOs directly to newly created user and computer objects.
These tools are located on servers with the Active Directory Services Role in %windir%\system32.

Fixa TS users problem med Flash

TS Servern fungerar bäst om ingen är inloggad när detta sker..
1. Logga in som admin på Servern
2. Leta reda på filen ”flash10e.ocx”
Sök vägen brukar vara: C:/Windows/System32/Macromed/Flash/Flash10e.ocx
OM inte kolla var den finns alt installera om.
4. Start kör cmd.exe
5. Sätt TS servern i install mode med
Change user / install
6. Kör kommandot nedan för att omregistrera OCXerna :
RegSvr32 C:/Windows/System32/Macromed/Flash/Flash10e.ocx

7. Sätt TS Servern i execute mode igen:
