So… what about it…<\/p>\n

A ”client” has a swedish name … called ”\u00e5sa”…
\nThe user got a 2008r2 domain account called just that ”\u00e5sa”.<\/p>\n

Logon to her laptop with asa works perfectly when the wirless network is running… password works perfect….<\/p>\n

But… if the domain controller is of… or wirless network is down… cached credentials dosnt work at all.
\nCauses a ”No domain controler is available” issue….<\/p>\n

Now i know…<\/p>\n

The nice windows knows that ”asa” is probably ”\u00e5sa” and translatesit and loggs in as \u00e5sa…
\n”\u00e5sa” account is cached…
\n”asa” isnt…<\/p>\n

Switching it back to ”\u00e5sa” the cashed credentials now works again…<\/p>\n
